Conservatory Improvements
Having owned a conservatory for the past 8 years with a frosted polycarbonate roof we found the conservatory was not a functional roof due to glare and heat from the sun. We took the decision to look into a film we had heard about and contacted Matthew and the Solar X team.
We had a conversation over the telephone with me explaining the situation we were in and we asked the opinion of Solar X and what products were available to overcome the issues we were having.
Matthew suggested there was only one product available on the market to overcome these problems, he offered to send us a sample through the post which we received the following day and booked an appointment for them to come over to the house to give us a free no obligation quotation to carry out the work.
On receiving the quotation we were very happy with the price and found it to be fair and competitive so booked to have the work carried out.
On the day work starting Garreth arrived promptly as promised carried out the work to the highest standards. I have to admit I was amazed with the difference the film made to the conservatory. The conservatory was left clean and tidy and all the windows had been cleaned and frames wiped down.
We would highly recommend the services of Solar X as since they came to our house we have a totally functional room in which we can watch the TV with no glare and the temperature is far more comfortable.

Window Security Film on Cab Glass
Increasingly with modern cab design laminate glass is not always an option for the Cab glass on Forklift trucks, we recently used SolarX to fit security film to 14 machines which are operating in a well know food production plant.
The purpose of the film is to prevent splinters of glass entering the food production cycle in the event a glass panel should become damaged.
Recently the installation proved its worth when a rear screen was smashed by impact, the film worked admirably by retaining the integrity of the glass panel thus preventing the possibility of any glass fragments entering the production process
